WordPress themes for classified ads.

Hello guys,

I'm planning for a classified ads site. Are there any WP themes for classified ads?
Do i need a hosting for this? Or any suggestions for my plan?

There's also this classified theme from Sitemile.

You will need to be on self-hosted WordPress, not wordpress.com. This means you'll need hosting, and maybe a domain (some hosts let give you a free domain when you buy hosting).

If you're not going to pay for good things, you won't get good things.

There could be free themes, but there aren't any I know off the top of my head. If they do exist, they'll probably come with spam links and other nonsense.

 

Ok, I understand... if thats the case then i have to buy it! no choice. So ill be looking for cheaper then.

 

Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh, but good quality themes take a lot of work to make and it's annoying to see people complaining about having to pay for them

 

i use classipress on all my blogs that sell stuff very easy to use

 

classipress is highly recommended

 

Some people are angry for the late update of 3.1 but i use the old versions of the script and they are working just fine.

 

Actually yu can use wordpress themes which are free, if you understand css, html and you know about programming, you can modify the free wp themes, you can transform it to yout desired webpage.it's up to you. Goodluck!

 

What server/host you have? Or give an advise and recommendations?

 

For Wordpress hosting I would recommend you Hostgator, Bluehost or Hostmonster.

Or you could just not use Wordpress at all and use Noah's Classifieds "http://www.noahsclassifieds.org/". The site shows it costs money, but I've installed it for free before so I'm sure if you search around you could find it free.

Noah's Classifieds also has a Wordpress plugin "http://www.noahsclassifieds.org/wordpress.html", but I'm not too familiar with that. Something you could always look into though

why you dont buy some theme from hxxp://templatic.com/ there have a good classified theme

 

use open classifieds.
