I am new to blogging and i decide to make my first blog on word press and it will be on softwares, so please suggest me a good free theme for word press and is it possible that the software on my blog can be downloaded directly not through the uploading web site. The best way to learn is to just get out there and do it. I'd suggest you start here and get a feel for what can be done and what you like... http://wordpress.org/showcase/ Then I'd take a look at the free themes http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/ and pick one and see how you like it. Most people will cycle through half a dozen themes before they find one they settle on. And the only way you know if it is going to work for you is to simply install it and use it. Don't make the mistake of rushing things. WordPress has some excellent documentation take time to read it.
Do a Google search for "free wordpress themes". You'll find so many results you won't know what to do
