Wordpress Theme Rules

    I have just created my first wordpress theme and its based around an Apple (the company) theme. Are you allowed to use the Apple logo anywhere on the website if I wish to give it away for free with footer links?

    Something tells me I couldn't do it so thought id check here first, any of you guys know?

    If it's just straight up an Apple logo, then no. There are ways around this, though.

    For example, you could modify the apple to look like a pear, as has been done on many Chinese knock-offs.
