Wordpress theme - missing stylesheet?

    I'm trying to find a new theme and every one that I download is saying it's missing the stylesheet once I get it loaded into ftp. Advise? Am I missing something?

    You need to rename the css file in the theme folder to style.css

    If you dont have any css file then just create one using notepad and save it as style.css
    You can also add this in your style.css so that it shows up with the name you specified.

    They all already have a file named style.css. I'm using FileZilla, should I try something else?

    If it helps, this is the theme I'm trying to download. I totally deleted the style.css page and created a new one and I have the same issue.

    Make sure you are putting the theme in the right folder.

    www/wp-content/themes
