Wordpress Theme Links?

I have bought some in the past, but was wondering how good these really are? Also is there any way to get themes that are downloaded a lot more then 2-300 times?

 

I've heard they work well if you're looking for a boost in PR - as long as the people using them don't remove them (which a lot of people do, even if you tell them not to). It's hard to get one theme downloaded a lot. You have to target a specific audience. For instance, many people might be trying to optimize Adsense ads on their Wordpress blog. I know of one theme that's been downloaded thousands of times because it claims to have Adsense ads in all the "correct" positions for a high CTR. The key is to make a theme for a specific audience and then target that audience to get them to come to your site (find forums or blogs or other sites that people from that niche visit).

 

Some people remove your links from the themes.But if its there it will surely help u.

If the themes are spread more than there is a chance to get it download more than 1k times.

 

if your links stays for along time on a web site, i'm sure that they will be counted as backlinks

 

Well as I said I have bought some of these, but I was just wondering if its as good as buying say blog posts by the hundreds. I am just confused as to what my next steps should be.

 

I don't think is a next step in this case. just find another ways to get links.

Try a G search for ( Don't use sponsored theme - can lose all your trust in different search engines )
