Would a theme like this hurt SEO? http://www.revolutiontheme.com/pro/ I ask because a typical wordpress (blog) has several posts on the front page. Let's say you have 5 articles on the front page typically. With this ajax menu you have fewer on the front page. I like it because it is clean and laid out well. But I don't want to take a step back SEO wise. Will the articles (posts) still get indexed as efficiently by the bots? Thanks.
Their code structure is messed up (mulitple and mis-use of H1 headings, plus the misuse of headings in general), but other than that, I really don't see much of a problem off the top of my head.
why do you think it would hurt SEO. SEO is not just the theme or template, its about content, onpage optimization, and quality of backlinks. if everything else is done right, theme itself would not matter much
That's not entirely correct, and your statement is kinda leaning on being misleading, sultanofseo - specifically about the Theme and onpage optimization. The two are not mutually exclusive, especially since that a large part of the onpage optimization deals with the HTML structure, which this Theme has some serious problems with.
i use the PRO MEDIA theme from them http://www.urbanascor.com i like it.. its nice and clean. i put ads in as you have seen. and yes all your posts do get indexed people search on google for certain keywords and my posts come up =)
Thanks! I just bought the pro theme. I really like the interface that allows you to select different categories right on the main page.
ouch.. i wouldve given it to you for a cheaper price but yeah congrats hope it works out well for you.
