Hi, I need some modifications to a worpress template: I have had permission from the designer to modify. (Thanks again Coleen) Template name: wp colors - http://blog-themes.kalinawebdesigns.com/themes/ or see attachment 1) I need the header to be wider to incorporate a standard size header you can move the search and top menu if needed! 2) I need a text area/box/post (which ever is easiest) the same size as a normal post to put text as static content/description for site. so this will be always above the first post. (able to enable or disable) 3) To make the widgets enabled for sidebar - So I can add extra widgets and move positions etc.. and control existing catergories/meta/blogroll etc... 1. possible 2. i can add the information of any static page you created in WP, i.e about page and place it on top of the post like u want but to enable disable it then it needs to be done through the files. 3. i can do that but there is a problem with the categories as you can see if you add widgets then it's all dynamic content and thus category names needs to be changed and thus the style of the categories needs to be changed to just simple text html but i can keep what there is there to be fixed widgets and in addition add dynamic widgets too, my price for that is about $50
Gave this Guy (Jasperr) a job on the 3rd Feb said it would take him a day or two at the most paid him 50% up front in good faith! And all I have had is excuse after excuse and now he does not reply to me! It is now a over a month any idea's how to sort people like him out! Job is back open if anyone interested! Malcan
