    I have a new blog for website reviews but it is a simple template, no bells or whistles. How can I add adsense to it and the icons for bookmarking. It took me a long time to find a template that I liked enough to use so I would like to be able to keep the template just have it modified to my needs.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    Adsense = Several options:

    * Add manually to 'sidebar.php' (in your themes files)
    * Sometimes 'footer.php' will work good too (depends on your template)

    or

    * Use an Adsense plugin from Wordpress.org

    WordPress is powerful and also pretty easy. :)

    ps. The bookmarks would probably also have several plugins too. I'm not sure which one is best. Anyone have a link to their favorite?

    For the bookmarks, try the WP-Sociable plugin.
    As for the ads, as gemini181 says - if you'd like, here's a decent plugin I use.
