Wordpress Tag Creating Duplicate Content

Wordpress offering tag option and creating a separate URL for every tag

and same content is using under category under post so is this mean this isa duplicate content issue

I need some expert review on it

 

It sounds like you might get double posts but im sure there are plugins that will help prevent this.

 

I can manually remove this tag option but need to know if it stay there it is ok or google mark them as duplicate

 

There are many plugins for wordpress to take care of duplicate contents. The search engine has added a meta tag in some pages so thet googlebot donot index it . The Bot sees the same content and search for original and then there is penalty for duplicate one.

 

any plugin name ?

 

I got it using Wordpress SEO plugin to avoid this

 

just edit the robots.txt to disallow /tag
you should also ask google to remove tag pages from index

find in the plugin search: seo>
install it>
setting>
use no index for tag
