    Hi All,

Have a question I hope you can help with.

I have developed many sites over the years, that use file names and extensions. For example, www.mysite.com/thisismypage.php or asp or html, you get the idea.

I have just launched a Wordpress site. Techincally, it doesnt have URLs, as when you use permalinks, it converts them like www.mysite.com/this-is-my-site/ etc

So, my question, how does Google work this out, does it condsider them to be URLS and do they still rank as well?

Also, will having a sub folder harm the site, ie www.mysite.com/mysite/this-is-my-site/

Any advice, opinions, experience or thoughts welcome !
