My Wordpress site was recently moved to my new web host, the database, files, everything.

Ok so once the person that did the move told me so, I pointed my NS to the new web host.

On my previous web hosting account Wordpress was updated, everything ok. So when I logged in Wp-Admin it would not ask me to update.

The new Webhost does not have the latest WP and asked me to update when i first logged in.

So now its been about 12 hours since the change, and the website is behaving weird. 50% of the time it uses the old DB and the other 50% connects to the new one. I know this because I changed the pictures on my posts and the updated pics show up 50% of the time, ALSO when loggin in 50% of the time it says that WP needs to be updated and the other 50% its the latest version of WP....strange....:confused:

I have cleared the cache of my computers, and same problem still happens.

I have gone to a public wifi (diff ISP) and the same problem happens..

    what's causing this? anybody know?

    All help is appreciated, thanks!

It's happening due to DNS updates related to your ISP.

I would recommend you to use Google DNS servers for your computer.

Anyhow, DNS' are usually updated within 24 hours.

Yes, it might be due to caching plugins and browser caching too.

This is right, its because DNS hasn't propogated fully yet. Give it some time :)
