    Hey.

Can you guys have a look at my blog and let me know how I can make my sidebar widget ready? It is a huge technical problem that needs sorting and it needs to be sorted ASAP. I am using the Pool theme, by the way.

Thanks in advance, your help would be greatly appreciated.:)

This is a piece of advice I have received many times but until my theme is widget-ready it won't work. There is a tutorial on making my theme widget ready but I can't work it out. It's too complex.

Incidentally, that can be found here.

Does anyone out there have some technical expertise that would assist me with this?

Take a look at another them that is widget ready. You can probably just copy and paste the code from that theme into your sidebar and it should work. It might require a little debugging, but not much.

The other option would be to switch to a theme that is already widget ready -- there are a lot of them out there now.

Most of them, and all of them in the latest version.

    The new theme looks good.
The only suggestion I would make is the placement of your subscription links and search box. They are easy to miss where they are now. You might want to move them to the top of the sidebar.
