Buying Wordpress shortcodes expert

I want to add some more shortcodes to my wordpress theme. This can be either through adding more shortcodes to my current custom functions.php file or using a plugin like php snippets. Should be a simple quick job for someone who is experienced in using php/sql in shortcodes.
