I am having one doubt regarding wp seo.Which is better :

http://xyz.com/2008/05/absass/

or

http://xyz.com/?cat=14



Which is more SE friendly ?

 

The former. But I'd go with a category/post structure instead, such as http://xyz.com/articles/keyword-rich-post-title/ for instance.

 

First one is better.

 

Keywords in the URL are a plus. The first definitely.

 

I'd go with keyword related url, Just modify your first one with keyword, Then first one is better.

Go with the first one. Like myblog.com/category/post_title

Don't go with dates (myblog.com/date/post_title) that's not very good for SEO. No one cares about the date. You can see the date on the post. Having keywords is more important. I agree with the people who suggested this.

One answer is not good enough. As you may know, the internet is full of false information. If two people says the same thing, I might believe it. If ten said it, I might believe it even more. But the best thing to do is research and experiment.

This is what forums are for. To ask for help and get help in return. Yea some people might be here just for the post count, but I believe a lot of DP users are more than that.

 

Neither...cat/post = keywords.

second one is dynamic type
dnt go with dynamic urls since these may create problems while crawling
