hm, majority is for WP, i don't want to say they are wrong, but))) if done right both a pretty good, but still Drupal is more flexible, and i'll say if you wonna take it TOO serious Drupal is better. if it is small site - WP, but if it serious project - DP, some really BIG companies do drupal.
For those who chose drupal check Search Engine Optimization GROUP at Drupal_dot_org a lot of usefull info. LOL i can't leave links yet)))
Check out www.masteringdrupal.com ...they have some great videos for SEO. Basically from what I have discovered, Wordpress has plugins for SEO which are a "quick fix", whereas Drupal gets right into the bones for fine-tuning SEO. I have both Drupal and Wordpress sites. Though I'm not an expert it is easy to see that Drupal is far more flexible though much more complicated at the same time. Depends on how much of a nerd you wish to be. Drupal is definitely much more nerdy, but then who wants to follow the crowd anyway?
I use both. If you are creating a good, content rich website it really doesnt matter which you use. I have sites ranking very high using both. I personally prefer wordpress. Much easier to manipulate.
Hey, I recommend wordpress because of the functionalities which have been introduced in its latest version. Although one of my website Managed Forex Investing is also in drupal but as far as SEO is concerned wordpress is much more flexible with its plugins and ad ons. You can get handsome information on usability of Wordpress and SEO from Digital Forum itself.
Wordpress is better and simpler in operating/configuring, why not use all these times you will be wasting tweaking drupal to post content in your website? I prefers wordpress
I was thinking to put my hands on Drupal. But, after reading the comments here I probably need to think again.
Hey man WP SEO is not better than DRUPAL SEO, it's just more easy to configure, so if you need more flexibleone try Drupal. Man did you ever tried Drupal? just interesting
There are pros and cons to each that would appeal to different people, although as a general comparison the two platforms are not on the same tier. But in regards to SEO specifically, while I can think of reasons I think Drupal is better, I haven't yet been able to understand what would make WordPress better - even though I've heard this often and have looked into it many times. And I personally haven't found performances differences. So aside from personal preference or opinions of "ready to go right out of the box", I would like to understand from those who believe WordPress is better for SEO - very specifically, exactly what and why?
Really? wow that's the first time I have heard that. As I said previously I use both and I rank highly using both CMS's however I tend to disagree with mdraja123's statement. I find the SEO of wordpress better (by far) than that of drupal. Either way it is what you put into it..... gl all!
Both are almost similar.. except.. i) wordpress: is easier, one plugin with few clicks, then SEO frendly URLS available ii) Drupal you have to install path auto module, and enable clean URLS etc But for expert level, it gives you lot of flexibility. e.g. URL aliases etc etc But again both are not comparable because one WP is best for blogs and Drupal for content sites. Just talking about SEO, personally I like Drupal. ( Drupal is better than even Joomla)
Wordpress seo easy maintain other then drupal seo.Wrodpress site is easy to handle and work in short time but drupal want more time.
