Wordpress SEO Content Question

Hi, I'm building a Wordpress site with high amounts of content, mainly articles.

    I was wondering:

do search engines value more articles mad in blog posts than pages? Because I thought I would have each article on a separate page, but I don't want that to hurt my rankings.

Sorry if it's a stupid question, I'm not really a SEO guru :p

    Thanks!

If you can, try to have each article as it's own page. Every page that you can generate is another door to your site, and Google loves sites that have many, many pages, since it's an algorithmic indicator of a 'publisher' who creates instead of consumes.

It doesn't matter that much as you are wondering about.
content in your article should be informational and well written

RankSurge is correct, you should spread articles out onto individual pages. Wordpress is blogging software, so the whole idea is to do little and often. (When I say little, you're looking to have at least 250 words per post).
