Need some help... very frustrating. Adding wordpress to a site that already has a forum in a subdirectory. The forum is using mod_rewrite for friendyl url's. Wordpress works fine in either a subdirectory or root until I activate rewritten permalinks... then it wreaks havoc on every re-written url the forum uses.

I'd rediculous. Even with the Wordpress in the /blog/ directory and using the .htacces in that directory only, it still manages to screw up all the posts in the /forum/ directory. I mean, wtf dude.... It's a Wordpress problem, .htaccess in a subfolder should NOT affect another subfolder under any circumstance.

Anyone know a workaround. I *must* use rewritten url's in both subfolders.
