    Hi,
I think somebody out there can help me about a wordpress issue.
I need to redirect people to another site with a link in my post something like this:

GO TO---upon clicking this link (assumed) the visitor will go to a new site, but the address bar (or the link) will show a link that is within my site. Something like below:

    actual link: http://www.anothersite.com/desired post

    showed link: http://www.mysite.com/post no./go to

Hope I explained myself. Its something like a tinyURL type issue. I googled it out but unable to find a suitable plugin. Please help.

Take a look at this redirection tool for wordpress - http://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/redirection/

You can add a link to a page, and when people click it the redirection script should send them to where ever you want them to go. I have it installed on my site and it works good, but I am using it to redirect people looking for articles that have been removed or changed. When I delete an article, I add a redirect for people that might follow a link from google.

    hi KEV,
Thanks for the reply. I'm now using the redirection plugin but not sure though about how many times I can use it. I need at least 8000 (Eight Thousand Times) redirection at least.

Is there any means I can redirect at least 10000 to 20000 amount of redirects easily?

I think .htaccess would be too tough for that amount of redirects....

    Any new idea guys?
