Hi I have a few wordpress questions that I'm hoping could be answered. Is there anyway to make my homepage static? It appears in the "pages" section i could not edit the "Home" page. I understand theres an option under "reading" in the options section but it does not allow me to make the "home" page static for some reason.-FIGURED THIS ONE OUT. xD 2. Any way so that the pages are like abcdefg.com/name instead of abcdefg/pageid=2? 3.Any way so that the pages on the nav bar on top can be edited so that they arent arranged alphabetical? 4.Please tell me if the theme is currently blue XD That's all, if anyone could answer any of those questions I'd really appreciate it. 1. Answered 2. Go to options-->permalink. From there you can change the structure to whatever you want, I believe you want just postname. 3. You can manually edit the template and just include the pages, or I believe someone just posted a plugin in here that allowed you to arrange them any way you want. 4. Theme isn't blue, sorry. Let me know if you need further explanation.
1. You need to create the page first, that you want to be static, and then set it in the reading-options. 2. Go to Options-Permalinks, and set the option that you would prefer. 3. I would like to know that as, well (sorry no help on that one) 4.. No it is not blue, but I do like the theme it is very nice.
