Wordpress question - Category post segregation

    Hi all,
    I have a question related to wordpress. What I want to do is create a new post type which I will call "Books". Now I want every single category to have two different things :-
    Category - 1. Posts and 2. Books

    Books will have information related to category just like posts but only different will be they show different and are not posts.

    I wanted to know how can this be done in wordpress ?

    Do you want to show the default posts and the new post type "Books" differently?

    Yes, I want to show it in two columns where first columns will show books and other will show the posts. I can design those things but first important thing is how can I create new thing like post and link it with category.

    Are you looking code for new post type i. e. "Books" If so, you can generate post type from here https://generatewp.com/post-type/

    Yes, post types support Taxonomies too, you can use it like category and tags etc.
