Hey guys, a friend of mine has asked me to create a web page for him. He is wanting a public home page that gives a little information about his company and then he wants a blog portion that is only visible to his clients via login that he provides each client. Is this easy to accomplish using wordpress?

I would appreciate any information if anyone can tell me how to go about doing this.

You can set a page to be the home page in the Reading Settings, and you can make each posts and page private, so you can have one public page with everything else private.

There are also plugins that make Wordpress private, like WP-Private. All visitors get is the login screen, which you could changed with a login plugin.

I think the first method is the best. It's annoying having to set each post as private, but you don't need to use any plugins.
