For a new blog I need some modifications to turn a wordpress blog into a directory site. I already found a great plugin that enable to run a powerful directory in minutes, although I need more modifications. You can find the plugin here and see the working demo here. Let me explain what I exactly need to get done. The current categories overview that can be found here, need to be changed into a categories overview like this site here. And after clicking a category the listing page should looks like this, see here with an option to click on a "details" link that opens a page that shows details about the site, see an example here So basically there are 3 levels in the directory: categories overview >> listings >> detailed information about a particular site That's it. I know nothing is impossible, but it must be realistic and the costs should be decent. If not, I will find another solution like purchasing directory software and forget about wordpress. if i were you, i wud go for buying a directory script or hiring someone to create a custom script. the cost and effort will be almost same.. so why not go for a specific product than to go for a tweak in a script which was meant to be something else (blog, in this case)? just a humble opinion.
Well basically my success with Wordpress is almost every time huge, I know how to work with it for promotional stuff, so that's why..
