I have a problem with my WP blog. Widgets like Calendar, Category and even About Me are appearing BOTH in the sidebar and below the posts, making my blog look like a clutter.

If you know how to solve this one, please share. I already tried a lot of themes but it keeps appearing that way. :D

Have you tried switching back to default theme? and see if it works, if it doesn't, try disabling plugins

try to change to the default theme, delete the widgets from the side bar and put them back again.

Have you included shortcodes as well as dragging widgets to your sidebar? Or many plug-ins have a line of php that you can use in place of widgets. So you may just have doubled up somewhere.

Thanks for all your responses here -- I do appreciate it all very much. I solved this problem by changing themes again and again until the widgets are not showing in double. I know this is not the permanent solution but I am not a techie eprson so I prefer an easy one.

    Again, thanks DPers...
