What can i do so that a particular post in my wordpress blog will continue to remain on top even if i post new recent ones, that particular post will continue to remain on top and not go down. Thanks.
that particular post might be marked as sticky, find the post - quick edit - uncheck sticky , this should solve your problem.
i am unable to see mark the post as sticky when writing my wordpress, how can i activate it so when ever i write a post i will see the option to make a post as sticky.
You need to install Wp Sticky plugin. Get it here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-sticky/ Then while posting, on the right side, you can see an option to make the post sticky, which makes a post appear first on the homepage forever. If my suggestion helped, rep is appreciated.
