WordPress Posting Help

    Is there a way to post faster on wordpress?

    Having to go to admin cp all the time and posting it form there takes a long time. I have to scroll down category to find right one then post.


    Is there a faster way to post?

    For example in joomla you can select category to post in and keep posting
    but in wordpress you have to keep clicking the tab for the category you want to post in

    Nope. As far as i know you need to go through all process everytime (selecing category). No other option available for that.

    Not that I know of, but try searching the plug-in database. It may be code-able in a plug in somehow.

    You can try using Desktop Softwares like Windows Live Writer. There is a quick blog option on Dashboard but it does not allow category. You can also blog via email...check in your options.

    You can also try this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-from-site/ - which allows you to post to your site without going to WP-Admin just by posting from site itself.
