I have a issue with my every wordpress post title, i don't want the name of my website to appear on the end of the title of each post that is indexed on google, how do i edit my indexed post's title now and stop the name of website from appearing at the end of it.
That is determined by the theme you are using. The easiest way is just to edit the theme but it may have a setting in admin to let you tweak it.
You can use a Plugin like YoastSEO (the free version is good enough) and it will allow you to edit the meta title of each page. The other way of doing it would be editing your theme file, if it is a custom theme file, you can edit the header.php and change the title between the <title> tags.
install yoast seo plugin and optimize your title and content . . it will effect quickly . . you don't have to change theme or code etc. .
I did change everything. My question is only how to update my title tag on google which is already indexed? I am not a developer. And I cannot change with any theme code. I just want to update of my title on google which is already indexed.
I am not a set expert. Once you install yoast, you can create a site map and add it to Google webmaster tools. You can't directly edit Google indexed links. It will take some time to change
you can not change the indexed pages and title instantly, but if you have made changes in your title and pages . wait for a few days(may be) that google updates. or use google webmaster tool . . fetch as google. that i think updates the indexed pages and titles
I had this issue when I started my blog. I waited a little until I installed Yoast SEO. I changed the settings to what I wanted my post title to be then it only took a couple of days to update on Google.
