wordpress post preview

    is geting to long
    i still want the most resent posts showing but just a preview of 9/10 lines

    how is this possible??

    Use the more tag. If you use the visual editor, it should say "more". Add this after 9 lines for the desired effect.

    Or change "the_content" to "the_excerpt" in your index.php/home.php.
