Wordpress, post post on a page

I am new to wordpress and cant figure out how to post a post on a page?
All posts I post just appear on the homepage

you can do this by simply from wordpress backend admin section by setting option---->reading setting.

 

I think what you're trying to do is to create pages and you can do that by simply logging into your wordpress admin area. Scroll down to Pages in the Left sidebar then select add new under it to create a new page. Hope this helps ;-)

 

Are you trying to list your posts on a page? If so, read this

The query posts function gets your posts from archives and lists them depending on the parameters you set. There are a lot of options like by category, by tag, time, author, random etc etc etc...

 

Not enough information. Time to do more reading and learning.

Your Template will determine where your posts are ending up and you need to configure the template.

POSTS and PAGES are two different things in WordPress.
