    i don't know why people use wordpress plugins.what is the use of wordpress plugins?

    there are something which we need to add like sitemaps,cache . database backup etc etc

    these can easily be done via plugins

    To enhance the basic functionalities of Wordpress - that's when plugins become handy. There are tons of plugins out there, just choose which one you will really be needing for your blog. :)

    there are plugins like social bookmarks since they are not default feature of wordpress we use them as plugin.
