Was wondering if there are any plugins that can help ensure the site is compliant with adsense tos - to remove any stop words or dangerous images.?

Don't know but wouldn't be hard to write. It's just a filter that would stop a save and potentially alert the user to old content that is no longer compliant after a change in the rules.

yea, something like that. If you do write it and end up selling 1000's of copies I want my royalties :D

I have some blogs that use automated plugins to get content from rss feeds and other sites, so it'd be handy to be able to check the content for any bad words before publishing. I think something like this must be available but searched around and couldn't find any decent plugins that do this.

Talk to me in a month if you haven't found anything. I should be coming up for air by then. I can write (for the glory, not $) and you can be my tester ;)

It's an easy plugin to develop, but I don't see how you can manage to build a list of all and every word Google's filters might find offensive or non-compliant (think not just "guns", but "how to dismember babies" or "why should you poison your wife"; a plugin can't detect those programmatically).

Well, when you say it like that.. ;)

Yea that's another issue, I've been researching this recently and it might just be impossible to generate any sort of complete, or even half decent list of stop keywords. But I think even a small list of under 100 main offenders (porn, sex, naked, guns etc..) would cover 99% of cases.
