Wordpress Plugin rquired for Hiding wp-admin

    Hii any body help me out for finding such plugin like hiding my administrator panel (wp-admin)from visitors. i dont want to need abc.com/wp-admin and login page will display....i think my question is clear to all of wordpress developer.............

    You can deny all ips and only allow yours via .htaccess. But be careful LOL. Do some google researches on it.

    So basically only the person with the same IP as yours can see abc.com/wp-admin

    hey kimi i think u didn't get me ............my prblem is i just want to redirect my wp-login.php or wp-admin to 404 page or page not found ...........i used wp-redirect plugin but it disbles all the permisison like every time when i looged in i have to deactivate the plugin them i can go to the abc.com/wp-admin

    It depends on what you are trying to do but if you upload an index.html file to the wp-admin folder you can make it say whatever you want. You can even redirect that index.html page to a 404 or make the page look like a 404 error itself.

    Then when you want to log in you can go to abc.com/wp-admin/index.php

    Maybe this will help you.

    Hmm..you mean if we type domain.com/wp-admin

    You will be redirected to my 404 error page i guess?

    Is that what you want to do? because that's what i understand..

    I think its a bit hard in Wordpress... You can follow Kimi's method! Or, put a htpasswd to protect that directory! You can use the AskApache Password Protect plugin to do this.. But be careful... sometimes this might cause problems! :D
