Wordpress plugin - Only one category allowed to select

Hello,

im running public blog and i want to allow publishers to publish article only to one category at a time. Some people select like 8 categories or even all and i dont htink its perfect for SEO. Please can anyone help to solve this issue?

If you are allowing them to submit via the front end of the site and have the ability to alter the code, then the easiest way would be to change the check boxes to radial buttons.

 

Im not programmer, everything is done via back-end. Standard wordpress... anyone please?

 

Why not you give them a user role like contributors. And you can edit like which category before you publish. You do the publishing work and they do the writing?

 

Blog has too much members and articles published daily. So it canot be manually oderated. it needs plugin or tweak, will welcome any programmer who can help me and others to solve this. Thank you

I have found One category select Wordpress plugin. It works as Wordpress plugin on 3.3.2 version. Here it is: Alow One Category Only plugin.
