I have seen plugins help and they all say put hte plugin in wp-content\plugins directory but where should i put the directory on my hard drive?? i have downloaded both adsense and chitika plugins for wordpress but dnt knw how to move further. plz help
Are you trying to host your own site? if so you have to install WAMP (Windows-Apache-MySQL-PHP) and then go to your server's root folder (usually c:\wamp\www\ or c:\apache2\htdocs\) and put the files there. I suggest getting a professional hosting service such as Hostgator, or if you are on a tighter budget go to GoDaddy. Once you upload the files and install wordpress then you can proceed to put the plugins in the correct folder on your server.
