Wordpress plan

This is what I want to do with Wordpress:

posts with just a few words, an excerpt, and a link (maybe a more link) to the rest or the entire post in a single page.

How would I have to plan that out, I mean, what plugins, hacks, structure would I need?

All you have to do is use <!--more--> which there should be a button for if you're using the WYSIWYG editor (which is the default, I think)
