Whats better? Option 1 http://domain.com/blog/2007/10/25/sample-post/ Option 2 http://domain.com/blog/sample-post/
I see no SEO purpose in dating the URL. It may have a function for your readers, depending on how often you update. Also, if you really have your blog in a folder called "blog"-you are missing an opportunity to rank every post for a searchable keyword.
But my main page is not wordpress, it is just a normal page, so i canno't just list posts in the main directory.
Gamefray: I'd highly suggest Option 2 (http://domain.tld/blog/post/). When you have to republish some posts, you wouldn't have problems with broken links. Check the WordPress SEO Guide in my sig for more info.
/%category%/%postname%/ is generally recommended because you get an extra keyword or phrase in there by specifying the category too.
