Wordpress.org (download site) and Wordpress.com (Blog site)

    is the same? why i ask.... i have tags, and my question is, if the systems tags of wordpress.com can i use for my blog on my own domain

    rpgamerz.com >> use wordpress, but i like the tags systems of wordpress.com

    They are not the same.

    You can use tags on a wp.org site, but those posts will not show up as tagged on a wp.com site.

    Do you mean a tag cloud, like this?
    http://en.wordpress.com/tags/

    Wordpress can do that too (DashBoard -> Appearance -> Widgets -> Add Tag Cloud).
    There are also heaps of plugins for different tag systems.

    They are same. WP.org is hosted on your own server and WP.com on WP servers! You can do anything on org that can be done on com. But you can not place ads on com!

    In terms of tag system, they are not same at all. On wordpress.com's tag system, they will not show your blog (wordpress.org).

    Tag System? I just forgot about that! But that's obvious, isn't that? Why would WP.com show external blogs in tags?
