I've recently changed from Joomla to WordPress.

A friend of mine uses WordPress for all his clients, and he suggested I try using WordPress for the "Content Management System" of my next site. I was reluctant at first, but I ended up making wallpaperblogger.com as a little project to see what it was like.

In my opinion, WordPress is alot easier to navigate, and have no problem finding useful plugins, templates, or even support for that matter.

    Hope it helps.

    Chris.

if you are looking to decide between Wordpress and Joomla go for Wordpress. It offers lot of fucntionality and easier for maintainance. with Joomla you will feel like LOST.

For Wordpress you will find many good quality premium themes to give your site a professional look.

I couldn't agree more, I've always used WordPress - but I have tried using Joomla as because their is a template I like that only uses Joomla, but I feel lost when using Joomla.

WordPress is so much easier to navigate and much better support.

I would have to agree with the rest, Wordpress is the way to go. Joomla is an alright platform, but hands down Wordpress beats it.

Wordpress is an easy to use, easy to update CMS, and the amount of different plugins they have is crazy, and usually updated frequently.

I worked on both. For CMS sites it is better to use Wordpress. Where as Joomla has its own advantages. It completly depend on the site structure you are planning

I create websites on both. WordPress is a good start for blog creation, but if you want to develop website with more advantages Joomla will b the best.

If you need a news website then wordpress is far better than joomla. Because its interface is easy to use and it has a flexible system of categories to arrange your news posts.
