Wordpress Optimization

Slightly off-topic, but WordPress 2.4 will be integrating post and page searches as well when it's released on January 28th, so there'll be no more need for the Search Everything plugin either.

 

Thanks to the OP for starting this. I learned a few things I did not know since I just started my first Wordpress blog a couple of weeks ago.

 

so from my understanding the seo plugin should make my blog a little better with regards to search engine optimization. But I have another little question, is there a plugin that adds like stumple, digg and delicious by chance?...

 

I presonally like the AddThis widget: http://www.addthis.com/

It's free, compact, has stats and it's only a simple bit of script to add to your template like the Adsense script.

Yeah man plugins to use:

1) All in One SEO Pack OR SEO Title Tag with Ultimate Tag Warrior
2) Google Sitemap Generator
3) Ultimate tag Warrior Sitemap Addon (Uses the above to max effect)
4) Enforce www. preference
5) Sociable

Use around 5-8 social bookmarks - don't use too many or your link power will be given away.

 

UTW doens't work in WordPress 2.3.1, so you're best off using the All In One SEO Pack. Besides, the fewer plugins you have running, the fewer system resources the server uses.

You wouldn't happen to have a link to the UTW Sitemap Addon, would you?
