Here's one that's a little more indepth, and it links to another blog that covers it even more... optimize wordpress -the mole
A couple good tips, but not very well presented, in my opinion. I think you could try expanding on the couple points to at least tell Wordpress users what they're doing and what other options are available via these modifications. As an example, you can set permalinks to whatever you want, obviously--maybe some users would prefer /keyword/%postname% or simply /%postname%. Good start though!
For all blogs RSS hold the key! unique title and social bookmarkings works a lot. Since most blogs are updated frequently, they become a natural choice for SE's as well as visitors. For your surprise, Google will show dynamic URL of WP even if you choose URL Rewrite option
Just in case there was some confusion here, my last post was in response to the statement of yours which I quoted. yes. most of SE's now define post ID. A shroter URL is also good for content syndication. say you have a good blog and if you promote it via social bookmarking and tags, will work more! I have tested this some times back and it works! but only in case of WP

I've created my own default package that I use. It's setup optimized right out of the box. I just have to activate Ultimate Tag Warrior. UTW is probably my favorite extension. -the mole
