Wordpress not updating problem

I sold a website and need to modify the widgets to display the new URLs for the customer, but the changes aren't being made. Basically I changed the links in the widget and it shows it changed in the Wordpress dashboard, but they don't take place on the website. I've tried refreshing, clearing my cookies, rebooting the computer and different browsers, but nothing works.

I'm going to start rebuilding the site from scratch in a few hours unless someone has an answer for this problem.

    Thanks

If changing the widgets through the dashboard (Appearance/Widgets) they might be hard-coded in the sidebar.php file, or the other way around.

Could also be a cache plugin?

No they're only inserted with widgets, and I checked the Editor sidebar.php as well.

    Thanks

Do you have any plug ins running that might over ride the settings ? Seems a little over dramatic to rebuild the entire site..why not just reinstall the theme to make sure it's functioning properly ? Seeing the blog might help us help you.
