Wordpress Not logging in

Its strange
I have tried different browsers. I write my usename and password to sign in and the page refreshes and remains on same page (which is sign in window page) doesn't go in ..........yet if i write wrong password it tells me incorrect password
What could be wrong......I have recently updated to 2.6.1

 

will u plz share ur blog url and is it happened after upgration?

 

Delete the cache and then enter the details..also click on remember me checkbox..hope this helps!!

 

I suggest you use the Wordpress Forum Support

1. Make sure your browsers are accepting cookies.
2. Deltete your browsers cache

You should also upgrade to 2.6.2

 

Thanks for reply, Actually i am new with wordpress and doesn't know any easy way to upgrade Do you suggest any wat to do it. Last time i upgraded it was from my host but they are still 2.6.1

 

the easiest way is to do the following:
1. Backup everything (This is important just incase things go wrong)
2 Download the new package from wordpress.org
3. Extract the files and upload them to your server where wordpress is installed overwriting the old ones
4. go to yourdomain.com/wp-admin and follow the instructions.

Pretty simple
