Hi everyone, I just installed WordPress 3.01 and I did some research on plugins reviewing many forums and blog posts. I was primarily looking for plugins that would provide additional security and anti-spam protection as well as help me to administer WordPress. WordPress Plugins I came up with these plugins, all of which are very useful. There is some overlap but that is on purpose. Would appreciate all comments and further recommendations, especially plugins that increase traffic and enhances the visitor's experience:
- Google XML Sitemap Generator (auto-generate an xml-based sitemap) - All in One SEO Plugin (manage titles, keywords, etc) - Per Page Sidebars (lets you set custom sidebars for each page) Check out the official WordPress plugin database (Google search) and see other top rated plugins.
Hi, All-In-One and XML were on my list. The custom sidebar doesn't have enough popularity to warrant inclusion. I am a bit wary of any widget that tampers with the format as custom sidebar does because they tend to collide with themes making their usefulness limited. All of the plugins on my list are currently working together in unison. Thanks for you comment. Rich

They said lots of plugins you can install but just for a friendly advice don't put tons of plugins to your wordpress blog, it will give penalty to your loading time.
There's a plugin that's better than All-In-One SEO: it's called Wordpress SEO. One of the best things about it is that in the post/page section, it shows you a snippet of what the post/page title & meta description will look like in Google.
Hyper chache seems to be better that total W3 Total cahce for average and not so heavy blog owners. warm regards Joshu
Yes, it is the one in my original list that I posted on the first post: You can see my list here: 22 Must Have WordPress 3 Plugins
Yes, this appears to be a good plugin if you want to control which widgets appear on which page. I haven't had the need to do this on my blog (I prefer to keep the pages consistent) but I can definitely see how this plugin can be very useful. Thanks for the heads up.
