WordPress MU and BuddyPress = Social Networking site ???

    Hi All,

    I am impressed with feature list of http://buddypress.org to create a community.

    It seems to be based on WordPress MU ( http://mu.wordpress.org/ ).

    But last time I checked WordPress MU, I heard it's very buggy and not really usable.

    I want to know:

    1) Is the situation improved ? Is WordPress MU a great product for multi-blogging ?

    2) Are the in-built SEO features of WordPress retained in WordPress MU ? Is it great for SEO ?

    3) Did anyone build a community using Buddy Press ? How large is your community in terms of members ? Have you encountered any problems so far ?

    4) Can I have a forum along with Buddy Press (Of course user login integrated) ?What are the options ?

    Any feedback on this product is appreciated.

    Elgg is the worse , try it with 50 user and let me know if ur site survive ...

    on each page there is more than 100 db queries

    it sucks !
