Buying wordpress modification

    I am trying to remove portfolio-view from my permalinks so it can be mysite.com/name instead of mysite.com/portfolio-view/name.

    I have had 4 different people try to fix this and no-one can. The closest I have got is using the plugin "remove slug from custom post types" which has fixed old posts, but new posts 404 when I try to access the URL.

    I will pay $20 if you can successfully do this job.
