Hi DP members,

I would like to change the way wordpress write URL from

http://sugod.com/?p=30 to

http://sugod.com/Article-Title

to make it SEO friendly. Is there anyone here who knows how?

Change Permalink structure, but friend.., this some times depending upon our hosting..

I am both testing it on a Linux and Windows Hosting.

 

Go to your Wordpress dashborad, settings and then to permalinks. On common settings> select custom structure and add this /%postname%/ . Now your Wordpress posts will have permalinks structure that you have asked.

It is better in my opinion to go with /%category%/%postname%/ as your setting under the wordpress admin panel for permalinks. Gives you a long tail descriptive url and adds to a strong site structure.
