Wordpress "Member gallery"/Member profile page

    Hello everyone.

    I'm just about to set up a "magazine" theme based wordpress site, and really want to engage my users.
    I want to offer a "gallery" they can upload a few pictures to and share with other members, and also have have a profile page where members can read more about them.

    Is that possible?And what plugin would I need in that case?
    Will I be able to make an "login" system unique my wp site?

    I'm a bit new to all this, but learning:)

    I have not seen one for Wordpress yet. I am thinking the same as you. I am switching over to another CMS that can.

    Should not be so hard to find a plugin for this or a complete theme for uploading galleries and author profile, but I don't understand what do you mean by sharing images/galerries?
    By my oppinion this functionality must be coded additionally.

    That is more of a CMS function. Buddypress can do this but its a tad clumsy.
