Do you ever find sometimes when adding an image into a post via the Media Library that it becomes really laggy and virtually impossible to use? When you click to insert an image from the Media Library, you usually have to wait until all the images in the library have loaded before you can click on the image you want, make adjustments to its title and alt tag and insert it into the post. I'm working on a site that has 4K resolution wallpapers on it so as you can imagine some of the wallpapers are like 5 - 10 MB in size. And this means that every time I open Media Library, I have to wait for them images to reload again. WP doesnt cache those images in my browser so every time I open the Media Library I have to fricken wait for them all to load before I can work on the image I want. This is really dumb. There must be a better way of using the WordPress Media Library. It's not like the images are cropped thumbnails, but they are the actual original image so have to wait for each one to download in full each time else if I try doing anything my browser just becomes unresponsive and lags out. I guess I just need some more RAM. Only running on 2GB atm as pulled a faulty stick out a few months back like a bad tooth and need to replace it but even still, on other WP sites where the images are much smaller it goes fine but when you are dealing with big sized images its a different story. Does anyone know any tweaks to apply or workarounds to get around waiting for all the images to load? Cheers!
