Hey guys, A couple months back, I hit a milestone. I made it upto 600 pages, and my Wordpress basically stopped working. This is what my host said: "Looking at your server, http://www.animepalm.com is exploding with many many "index.php" processes (the main "core" of your site's scripts) that are chewing up massive amounts of CPU/Memory. Have you made any recent changes to Animepalm? New modules? Upgrades? Significant content changes?" Recently, yesterday to be exact, I had the same problem, but it was after reaching about 13,000 posts. My website took about 10mins to load into a page. After deleting 1 post, my website went back into normal loading process. Here's what my host said: "The server's load plummeted from about 25 to 1.00 and it's holding steady. There are no longer a flood of index.php processes from animepalm" Does anybody know why I seem to have hit a limit of pages, or posts? And if I have, is there a way to get around it? Regards,
I haven't seen such a problem even I had a blog with 17,000 posts and more than 1100 pages...Check your hosting account and check the server load ...may be the problem will be solved automatically....
You mean you have 13,000 blog posts! Wow, that's a large number. I have heard other bloggers complaining about wordpress having problems after 500 posts.
