Wordpress Layout Problem

Discussion in 'HTML & Website Design' started by PJS, Sep 22, 2009.

My wordpress template is 950px wide and my landing page template is 692px wide. When I type in my copy for my landing page I'm not getting WYSIWYG. The way I'm laying it out in the wordpress box comes out completely different when I view the page. I can't control where the type or images are going. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

    Thank You,
    PJS

Why not you change the layout of your Landing page same as your wordpress theme. And for that you can get some help from a wordpress theme developer. Some editing in CSS is necessary.

Thank You, I'll try that. The only reason used a separate template was because I had a few that I bought awhile back. I could just modify a regular wordpress page and use that as a static landing page.

I tried to create a new blank page in wordpress but I can't seem to do that. I like the theme I set up as a landing page so I don't want to change it. So if anybody could help I appreciate it. I'm still having the same problem as my first post.
