I am using the Prologue theme from Automattic for a small website I am running for a group. My question is, I have read and write enabled on the files, but when I modify them locally then upload the changes don't take place. I am trying to put a static photo logo above a flash rotating banner. The static logo is already there by using the WP custom logo, but I would rather upload my own, then place the flash banner right below it. I used to edit themes all the time a few years ago but can't seem to grasp what to do now. How would I go about this? The website is http://lssusife.org Thank you!
The best way to modify a theme is by using wp-admin - > Theme Editor -> Change any file like header index footer sidebar archive Otherwise you can pm me for more help.
